The Life of Elijah

As we consider the life and ministry of Elijah, an Old Testament prophet, we see God use him to confront the people of Israel and their idolatry. His story reveals the hardness of hearts that can result from sin but also the miraculous power of God in the face of opposition.

If we take a step back from Elijah's story, we see him preparing and pointing the way to Jesus, who would not only confront people of their idolatry but would redeem them by dying on the cross for them.
